I was commissioned by Before Creative to develop a suite of illustrations for Hobart City Council’s Christmas celebrations. The brief centred on capturing “the magic of Christmas” in a warm, traditional style that would resonate with the community. Since that first commission, the collaboration grew into an annual tradition. Each year, I expanded the collection of festive illustrations, which now bring colour and cheer to Hobart’s streets on banners, shop windows, and information booths. They also appear on footpath decals and children’s activity sheets—helping to create a city-wide atmosphere of celebration and joy.
